Great News
HUD just announced that they are lowering the annual FHA mortgage insurance premium rates, which will lower monthly mortgage payments for FHA loans! For purchases with a down payment of less than 5%, the monthly premium is being lowered from 0.85% to 0.6%. For purchases with a down payment of 5% or greater, the monthly premium is being lowered from 0.8% to 0.55%.
